May Day May Day

This month has been chalk full of injury and sickness. The two highlights were curtousy of Sadie and Gage. Sadie just couldnt help herself and touched Justins motorcycle when it was still hot and gave herself second degree burns. The boys have been burned before but not to where it blistered. We thought for sure that we were in for a long night but Jolene gave us an idea to use apple cider vinegar. As weird as it sounds it worked! Plus it has a lot of other uses. Google it!

We had to wrap her hand up once the blister popped so it wouldnt get infected. She was cute as a little cripple...a loli-pop made it all better=)

Gage took the cake with his episode. He jumped off the swing at school on tuesday and landed wrong on his elbow. He got up, dusted off and went on playing. The teacher watching the swings didnt feel the need or see it necessary to send him to the school nurse nor did she feel it was necessary to send me home a note telling me what happened. Much like the black eye incident (which by the way I have his school picture which shows his eye that I will upload later), Gage came home talking about getting hurt at school but there was no explanation from the teacher as to what had happened. I didnt see anything wrong with his elbow and he complained a little bit but I decided to send him to school the next day with a note explaining what had happened and that if he was hurting to call me and I would come pick him up. The nurse called me at 8:30 saying that he was hurting and that his elbow was clearly swollen. When I got to the school, the teacher was filling out an accident report and the principal was there as well. It seems like this school has already dropped the ball too many times with Gage. If this continues I will try to switch schools. Poor Gage, we went to the specialist today and he fractured his arm so they put him in a full arm cast. He was really wanting a cast but by the time tubby time and bedtime rolled around he was so sick of it! Only 3 weeks 6 days to go til he gets to take it off! I told him to look pitiful in the picture...How'd he do?

Triple Scoop Ice Cream Sundays!

So church is really hard with the 3 kids and it seems so impossible to make it through sacrament. My ward has sacrament last and it runs from 11:50-1pm which is prime naptime hours*Ugh* anywho...I read somewhere to bribe the kids with ice cream. You start off with 3 scoops. The first time they misbehave you flash them 3 fingers which is their warning. The next time you flash them two fingers meaning they just lost a scoop of ice cream. Whatever they end up with is what they get for dessert. We made it easy last week and they all ended up with a one scoop ice cream cone for dessert.

They truely should have owed us ice cream but we are trying to get them warmed up to this new idea. Once they get the idea it will be a bit harder to keep each scoop. We are going for no tantrums from Sadie and Ethan.
All in all it was a better then usual sunday.

Sadie was making a definite fashion statement!

Oh and p.s. anyone who has not yet seen "the face" from Sadie...I finally caught it on camera. prepare youself because its not pretty!

Kids first rainbow

After putting the kids to sleep I realized that there was a rainbow outside. Which was weird because there was no rain and it was a bit overcast. I couldnt help it and went and woke up the boys to show them. They thought it was really cool but they were upset in the morning when they couldn't find it anywhere!

The Boyds came to town!

We had a great time visiting with the Boyds and the cousins all played really well together! Here are a few pictures...

Jess was visiting also with Peytie-Pate...

Ethan's Puppy

Ethan's really only attached to two things, his green silky and his puppy....

I found him like this the other night at bedtime=)

Ethans first papas camp

Ethan flew up to kentucky with my dad last tuesday and had his first official papas camp. He had a lot of fun! They went to McDonalds, rode the florence y'all mall carasel, and even got papa and nina to take him to chuck-e-cheese...his favorite! He had a good time and I am always so grateful when my kids get to have fun adventures like this with my dad. Gage is counting down until his turn this summer. I dont know what he's excited about more, papa & nina or seeing Tyler!
The boys missed each other and wanted to sleep in the same bed friday night, I thought I'd give it a go but told them that they had one chance to go to bed or else Ethan had to go back to his room.I thought for SURE i would be putting Ethan in his room but when I went to check on them, this is what I found=)

Easter at the Anthony's

We did a few things this year for Easter. On friday we went over to my moms and Jessie came up from Savannah and we had a yummy ham dinner thanks to muah! GG had easter baskets for the kids and apparently Sadie left some of hers behind for the dogs to enjoy...

On saturday we went to a ward Easter egg hunt and the kids all made out like bandits! We got back every egg we donated times 10!

Then came easter morning and 3 easter baskets from the "easter bunny"...my how creative she was this year!

And then after naps we went over to Jennifer's moms house (they're our McDonough family) and had more food and then the kids got more candy hunting eggs. Sadie shared her candy with Brooke...
