Trick or treat
This year the kids improvised with their costumes. Let me explain... It was 70 degrees during the day and by night it was dipping towards freezing. So for this reason Sadie was a lion during the day...
Here she is waving to the camera
And by night she was Sadie the lady bug
Ethan wore Gages old army soldier costume except we spiced it up with a real army name tag. If yhou look close enough you can see that we added foamie stickers to each side of the tag with Uncle Jim and Uncle Davids names so he was a real army soldier=)
By night he was a puppy and was really good at staying in character!
Sadie thought the puppy head was fun to pull on and very entertaining!
Gage was Optimus Prime and only wore the mask for the picture. He thought everyone was staring at him when he had it on so he refused to put it on again.
Spooky Eyes
He could have just put on warmer clothes under his costume for the night time festivities but he felt left out because Sadie and Ethan had different costumes so he pulled out his Dale Jr costume and wore that.He was very proud of his pumpkin that he decorated at school, can ya tell?!
And here he is "eating" his pumpkin...
We went to a few different festivals and trunk or treats so that when it came time for the real deal, I took Gage and met up with Jennifer and Blake and their crew to trick or treat while Justin stayed home with the two sleepy angels. Gage raked in a lot of candy and said that he had to get a lot of candy so that he could share with Ethan and Sadie since they didn't get to come with us.

Just another day...
So another year has come and gone and I am one year older.. 26 to be exact, and I am finally realizing that, for me at least, the birthday is just another day. Kids are too young to do anything for ya...husbands too clueless to do anything for ya.. But atleast I have great sisters that help make it feel special! Thanks! Is someone would have told me that when I was 26 my best friends would be my sisters, I would not have believed it. And my brothers aint that bad either! So happy freakin birthday to myself. My gift to myself is to loose the baby weight that Ive been packin since I had Gage. I like to blame it on Sadie but truth is, its from Gage=)Ill keep you posted....

Beverly Hills Chihuahua...Really?!?
So I called Justin up this morning ranting and he told me to blog about it so I will=) I was listening to the radio this morning on my way to the grocery store and heard whats called the entertainment buzz. They were saying what movies did the best at the box office over the weekend. To my suprise, Beverly Hills Chihuahua beat out Quarantine and Body of Lies which has Leo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe... # 1 for 2 weeks in a row grossing a total of $52.5 million in just 10 days...Really?!? Our economy is so bad, and Americans are losing their homes, cars, jobs and the way they choose to spend their money is by going out and spending 52.5 million dollars on watching Chihuahua's? I already think movie ticket prices are rediculous and that people should boycott the movie theater until ticket prices and the concessions go down but to spend it on a chihuahua is beyond me...fyi

Zoo Atlanta 2008
We took the kids to see the animals at the zoo today with Papa Anthony, BJ, Jennifer, Blake, & Brooke. The weather was great and the animals were cool but the kids...well at least they had fun. Gage had a listening problem the entire time, Ethan wanted to be a big boy and not sit in the stroller or hold anyones hand and then there was Sadie...She is such a little priss sometimes. Its her way or no waqy and if she doesn't get her nap in her crib (because she refuses to nap anywhere but her crib) she is cranky pants. She could care less about the animals and hated being in the stroller but the show goes on right? I'm not gonna post pictures of all the animals, just the really cool ones.
We started with the elephant. The kids stopped and stared for a while and did not want continue. We probably shouldn't have started with such a popular animal.
And Alligator Snapping Turtles too!
One last picture for Sadie bug...We started with the elephant. The kids stopped and stared for a while and did not want continue. We probably shouldn't have started with such a popular animal.
This was fun, you can hardly see Charles face though...
The meerkats were enjoying the morning sun.Ethan was so scared of this statue that Uncle BJ had to sit with him!
Ethan loved the Giraffes. He sees them all the time on little einsteins!
Our little birds!
Sadie was there...like I said, she was really cranky! We had to keep her happy with her sippy and crackers. Unlike silly, happy E-man!

Once we had been at the zoo and Sadie took an itty bitty nap, she perked up and went into the petting zoo.
She was so unsure...So precious!
